when you activate a menu (either by clicking it or using the mnemonic) the menu pops up but the mnemonics aren't underlined until a menu item is highlighted (eg, by moving the mouse over the window or using the arrow keys to navigate thru the menu). the mnemonics should underline as soon as the menu pops up

For example, the F in the File menu title should be underlined because pressing F will open said menu. This is not happening with indicator- appmenu. (In addition, only Alt+F seems to open anything. Is that another bug, or have I just forgotten the conventional shortcuts for the other menus?)
