Public bug reported: Get Pycharm from http://www.jetbrains.com/pycharm/download/ 1. run pycharm3.1 from shell (pycharm3.1/bin/pycharm.sh) 2. click Pycharm icon and lock it to launcher quit Pycharm 3. Clicking icon now runs Pycharm 3.1 4. Unlocked Pycharm icon 5. run pycharm3.4 from shell (pycharm3.4/bin/pycharm.sh) 6. click Pycharm icon and lock it to launcher 7 quit Pycharm 8 Clicking icon now runs Pycharm 3.1
8 is unexpected - it should run Pycharm 3.4 as it is this program I locked most recently to the app launcher. 9 Renaming the Pycharm 3.1 directory: 10 clicking the Pycharm icon now fails to start any program 11. Run Pycharm 3.4, and lock it 12. clicking Pycharm icon still fails to start any program. ADDITIONAL SUGGESTION: right clicking on icon could bring up a properties menu, when selecting that one can see and edit what clicking the icon will run.
