Correct. >What happens when you run "date" from the command line? Matching subscriptions: dx-packages https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1157914 Title: time never catches up to reality after VM sleep Status in “indicator-datetime” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: When I run Ubuntu in a VM, then sleep the VM for a little while, I expect time to eventually catch up to reality, because I have "Set the time ... Automatically from the Internet". However, time never does catch up. I can trigger a catch up by toggling the datetime indicator to "Manually", wait a little bit, then toggle back to "Automatically from the Internet". I may have to do this a couple of times to fix the time. This tells me that it's not a problem with the VM environment specifically, but a problem with coordinating time over the internet.
