Thanks for that info Marco. Have you managed to figure out which application is causing the 100% CPU usage? Is it sublimetext?
It would obviously really be helpful for us to reproduce this issue. At the minute my theory is there's some sort of cycle in the GMenu structure that one of the apps is exporting. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of DX Packages, which is subscribed to hud in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1276225 Title: Heavy CPU usage when sublimetext is opened Status in Unity HUD: Confirmed Status in “hud” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: It looks to be triggered by sublimetext: http://www.sublimetext.com/2 The suspended stack: http://pastebin.ubuntu.com/6873661/ This is the HUD log file: http://paste.ubuntu.com/6873710/ This is the list of apps running: http://paste.ubuntu.com/6873719/ To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hud/+bug/1276225/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~dx-packages Post to : dx-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~dx-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
