Install liferea, ensure that the corresponding indicator is available in the messages indicator. Add few feeds in order to have few hundreds of unread messages 2. Open liferea 3. Right-click on the 'Unread' folder and select 'Mark All as Read' Result: liferea takes some time to refresh but after few seconds it's back and responsive. run 'top' and see indicator-messages-service uses 100% CPU and never comes back.
