The string flickers on and off as it's redrawn. This is a bad user experience. To reproduce: 1) Hit the super key to invoke the dash 2) Type in a string that will not return any search results, like "asdfasdfasdf" 3) Watch the dash for a few (5-10) seconds Expected results: The search begins and the string "Sorry, there is nothing that matches your search" is drawn in the dash Actual results: The search begins and the string "Sorry, there is nothing that matches your search" is drawn in the dash. The string flickers at an irregular cadence. I assume this happens whenever new search results arrive and the status of the results is redrawn in the dash. The flickering seems more frequent (5-10Hz?) on devices with fast disks such as SSDs.
