@charles, the problem with reproducing on a tablet is that we don't have tablets with sim cards and I have only managed to reproduce this with incoming calls.
I see it every now and then, I may be able to get you more crash logs tomorrow. It normally happens to me when there is stuff in the messaging queue and I have some apps open. I haven't been able to pinpoint the exact conditions.
