Hello DSpace Community,

I am working on configuring search filters and facets in *DSpace 8.1* based
on entity types. My goal is to allow filtering of *Journal Publications* by:

   -

*Journal Title* (referencing dc.title instead of creating a separate
   journal.title metadata field)
   -

   *Journal Volume Number* (publicationvolume.volumeNumber)
   -

   *Journal Issue Number* (publicationissue.issueNumber)

I see that entity types like *Journal, Journal Volume, Journal Issue,
Publication, Organization*, etc., are defined in relationship-types.xml
<https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/blob/main/dspace/config/entities/relationship-types.xml>.
However, I need guidance on configuring *Discovery search filters and
facets* for these entity relationships.
My Questions:

   1.

How can I configure discovery.xml to add facets and filters for *Journal
Title, Volume Number, and Issue Number*?
   2.

Since I want to use *dc.title* for filtering *Journal Title* instead of
defining a separate metadata field like journal.title, is there a way to
   list only *Journal entity titles*?
   3.

Are additional configurations required in dspace.cfg or other DSpace
configuration files to ensure proper indexing and searchability?
   4.

Has anyone successfully implemented a similar setup? If so, could you
   share configuration examples?

Any guidance, configuration examples, or pointers to relevant documentation
would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards,
Dibyendra Hyoju
