I have configured dspace 8 to use configurable entities to add relation between faculty (person) and publications. Entity relationship, virtual metadata configuration and publicationStep of submission form are configured. Author index is configured as the following webui.browse.index.2 = author:metadataAuthority:dc.contributor.author:authority authority.cfg is configured like this plugin.named.org.dspace.content.authority.ChoiceAuthority = \ org.dspace.content.authority.SolrAuthority = SolrAuthorAuthority plugin.named.org.dspace.content.authority.ChoiceAuthority = \ org.dspace.content.authority.EPersonAuthority = EPersonAuthority choices.plugin.dspace.object.owner = EPersonAuthority choices.presentation.dspace.object.owner = suggest authority.controlled.dspace.object.owner = true Now I can establish a relationship by adding a person from the relations tab and a virtual metadata is also added to the publication items metadata. The problem is that this person is not indexed in the author index and not listed in the 'browse by author' facet. Could you please assist in resolving this issue?
