Dear Joanna, I don't have an answer for your primary question, but regarding DOIs being assigned retroactively to old content, we had the same issue. In fact, our system suddenly minted 4000 DOIs at the time we migrated from DSpace 6 to DSpace 7.6.1. We were using DataCite in our previous version. We have absolutely no idea why it happened. If you do figure out the reason for this behaviour in your DSpace, do please let me know--maybe it will help me finally figure out what went on with ours.
Good luck, and thanks, Carolyn. On Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 4:18:25 PM UTC-5 Joanna Lee wrote: > Hi, all. > We are on DSpace 7.6.1 and tried to make updates to use the new Datacite 4 > schema.
