Hello everybody.
When I installed dspace 7.5 a few months ago in a virtual machine on
Ubuntu 22. I'm not very expert in this aspect so I made the mistake of
installing it in the /home directory that the systems department of my
organization had prepared for me.
But this disk only had 8 GB, so between Ubuntu itself, patches, virtual
desktop, products like tomcat, Apache, yarn, npm, solr, /dspace, /dspace
backend and /dspace angular, my disk is full, causing many errors.
I requested another disk, already 50 GB, and I have moved to it the
postgresql database, the backups, the solr, and some cache, but as the
repository grows I again have space problems, for example dspace does not
upload new files items.
I have tried to clean up as much as possible, but the problem persists,
hence my request for help.
How could the /dspace folder, or the /dspace-angular folder, which are the
largest, be moved from /home to the new disk (/DATA)? Is there any
documentation about it? Any help would be very useful to me, because I
don't know how to do the entire installation again while keeping all the
customization, the items,...
Thanks in advance
