Hi all, I'd recommend logging a bug ticket <https://github.com/DSpace/dspace-angular/issues> with more information about the OIDC error you are seeing (and include what version of DSpace you are using). It's possible there's a bug here, but we need details about the error. I'd also recommend testing this again on 7.6.2 or 8.0 (if someone hasn't already) to see if any fixes were added there which resolve this bug.
