I have two types of objects. First type is a book comprised of pages - JPGs. There is one METS file per book listing all pages. It looks like DSpace 7 could display this if the METS files are transformed into IIIF manifests. Second type is a book comprised of chapters - PDFs. There is one METS file per book listing all chapters. May be it is possible to use IIIF manifests again - with the IIIF "rendering" property. But then perhaps it will be impossible to implement authorized only access to the chapters (PDFs).
The most general solution would be a custom viewer, which reads the METS files and displays the JPGs/PDFs. But I am not sure is there in DSpace 7 a standard way to attach a custom viewer? -- All messages to this mailing list should adhere to the Code of Conduct: https://www.lyrasis.org/about/Pages/Code-of-Conduct.aspx --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "DSpace Technical Support" group.
