Do you want to import the metadata and PDFs for a group of items at once? I've not yet done this but I have a case where I will soon. I've just started looking at the process. There are some tools out there where you create a csv file using Dublin Core for the columns. Except one column that is a link to the object. This is then run through a tool, SAF Creator or another like it. This creates the Simple Archive Format bags with each containing the metadata and the files. These can then be ingested.
