Generally, I think think is the internationalization problem. 
The idea at the end is if author posted 3 different papers in DSpace on
different languages specifying his name on 3 different languages he should
see proper counting (counts on badges following author's name in JSPUI i.e.)
of his works  depending the Dspace interface language. So if user has chosen
*ukrainian* language interface he would see number "3" in the badge right
next to author's *ukrainian* name. 
Unfortunately, now user can only see 3 different (=separate) language
versions of author's name with number "1" in the discovery facets ((
