Hi,
first of all, apologies for cross-posting, but I think some details can be
of interest to both groups.
As agreed, I committed the unit tests for "org.dspace.content". The next
steps are:
- Integration tests: the infrastructure is ready. I would like to have 1-2
proposals on areas of interest where you would like me to create an
integration test. For example, creating a tree of collections and
communities. Something like that.
- Functional tests: I'll start building the infrastructure for the
functional tests. Due to Maven limitations I'll probably need to run the
from Ant, once we have packaged DSpace

In the documentation I mention several issues I've found. I won't put them
again here to keep the mail short, but I would like to direct your attention
to two points:
- File system dependency
- Development issues
I would like to ask all of you for the following:
- feedback on the tests (in general: areas where you can improvements,
etc)
- solutions/ideas to the issues found. Specially on the 2 sections
mentioned above, I think improvements can be done but at this stage I would
need your feedback
