This gives the flexibility of being able to customize how much memory your want your JVM to have access to whenever you use dsrun or dsrun.bat. Since JAVA_OPTS is already used by Tomcat for this same reason, it makes sense to use JAVA_OPTS for dsrun and dsrun.bat As it is currently in DSpace 1.4.1, if the JAVA_OPTS environment variable doesn't exist, the dsrun and dsrun.bat scripts start Java with 256MB of memory (using the -Xmx256m flag) This simple patch is against the latest SVN head. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=319984&aid=1712125&group_id=19984 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Apps built with the Adobe(R) Flex(R) framework and Flex Builder(TM) are powering Web 2.0 with engaging, cross-platform capabilities.
