I have just checked into the 1.5.x branch the latest code to support 
SWORD 1.3.  Any feedback on this module would be greatly appreciated.

The SWORD 1.2 module for DSpace will still work on the 1.5.x branch, and 
will continue to be available from the SWORD sourceforge page at:

testing. This consists of a mets.xml file, which
is a METS document containing a Dublin Core XML section of descriptive 
metadata which conforms to the SWAP standard.
There are additionally 3 example PDF files.*
