Hi, we at The Library Code organize annually a conference about DSpace in Germany: the DSpace Praxistreffen. This year at the DSpace Praxistreffen 2025 we had a panel discussion about the potential merger of the codes basis of DSpace and DSpace-CRIS. Holger Lenz the DSpace community manager moderated it. Beate Rajski from Technische Universität Hamburg, Andrea Bollini from 4Science, Bram Luyten from Atmire and me served as panelist. Thanks to all of them for joining Praxistreffen and answering questions about the potential merger.
We just published a recording of that panel discussion on Youtube. As the conference language of the DSpace Praxistreffen is German, the video starts in German, but the panel discussion was hold in English and almost all of the recording is in English. You can find the recording at https://youtu.be/jnqhrqI3bq8. We recorded all the presentations of the Praxistreffen and the recordings will be published in the coming weeks. The other presentations were given in German.
