Hi All,
For those of you who may not be aware, stakeholders within the Fedora community
have been hosting a series of monthly AI discussions focused specifically on
the aggressive harvesting of the digital resources contained within the
repositories at our institutions, and ways to mitigate downtime or service
interruptions for our users. This is not a Fedora-specific conversation, we are
merely hosting it, and have extended the invitation to engage in this
discussion with partner communities who may be facing the same issues so we can
collaboratively tackle this growing issue. Read more about our discussion here:

During our last discussion someone asked about third-party options or Service
Providers who offer services to block bot-attacks or mitigate these scenarios.
What we are looking to do is compile a list of known/trusted providers. We
would be happy to hear from you if you have experience utilizing any such
service or are willing to share providers you are familiar with. Please feel
free to respond to this email or reach out to me directly
(arran.griff...@lyrasis.org<mailto:arran.griff...@lyrasis.org>).

If you are interested in joining our discussion, our next gathering is January
6th, 2025 @ 11am Eastern. This is an open invitation to anyone interested in
participating - not just Fedora users! Zoom link to join is:

Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Arran
