In case you were unable to join us at OR2017 in Brisbane, Australia (or
just wanted a review), the slides for the DSpace 7 update talk and Angular
UI Workshop are now available.

current status of the DSpace 7 efforts, architecture, and how you can get
involved.

the Angular platform (for developers), and hands-on coding activities (to
get started in our codebase)

If you are looking for opportunities to learn more, updates on DSpace 7
along with another workshop/training session will be given at the upcoming
DSpace User Meeting at Georgetown University (register at
https://www.library.georgetown.edu/node/19724). We also plan to begin
providing more regular updates to these mailing lists as the work
progresses.
Ongoing code development on DSpace 7 is occurring in our DSpace 7 Working
Group <https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSPACE/DSpace+7+Working+Group>.
We work in a sprint-like fashion, meeting on a weekly basis to touch base
on in progress work, and plan out the work for the next week. Anyone is
welcome to join, just get in touch via email or on Slack
<https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSPACE/Slack>. No prior Angular (or
even DSpace) experience is required, as long as you have a desire to learn.
