One more update. without changing any cmake files the following cmdline should work: cmake ../llvm-project/libclc/ -DLLVM_CONFIG=/usr/local/llvm-git/bin/llvm-config -DCMAKE_LLAsm_FLAGS=-cl-no-stdinc -DCMAKE_CLC_FLAGS=-cl-no-stdinc
