FYI:
neither
(A) a new BIOS (Gigabyte F2A88XM-D3H, BIOS F10a 02/23/2016 (before it was F9))
nor
(B) turning off IOMMU support in the BIOS
nor
(C) kernel parameters "intremap=off amd_iommu=off"
helped...
