They are all from download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/XOrg/openSUSE_Leap_42.2/ The flicker problem is not about the menu but the drop down list that opens when you enter an address to the firefox address field. A second effect: When I re-size a window using kernel 4.8.14 the background (or underlying windows) shine through.
