After that I rebooted, logged into KDE (acceleration disabled), killed Konsole, so it wouldn't automatically get startet and tried a login with acceleration again. But still no luck: I'm still stuck on the last icon of the KDE loading screen just before the desktop get's drawn the first time. After killing X I'm seeing the GPU stall (see comment #83) again, just without the segfault in Konsole. Maybe it has something to do with the composition type and Qt graphic system I've chosen in KDE for desktop effects?
