Hello, As can I see vanilla kernel is still provides DRBD8 module version by default: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/v5.0/include/linux/drbd.h#L54
This creates some confusion with using it with mainstream software like LINSTOR whch is always requires DRBD9 kernel module. And also adds inconvenience for building module every time via dkms. Some container-based distros may have no dkms at all eg. CoreOS, using of DRBD9 is quite difficult there. Including DRBD9 in kernel-tree may solve all these problems. Have you any plans for include DRBD9 into kernel tree? Is there any difficulties with that? - kvaps _______________________________________________ drbd-user mailing list [email protected] http://lists.linbit.com/mailman/listinfo/drbd-user
