out of curiosity: why not using the Dovecot packages delivered with
Trixie?
CE is imho Dovecot Pro, while the other in Trixie is the free opensource
CE version is also misssing in Gentoo Portage, sadly Binhost is
supported on gentoo, but it needs some that are willing to provide
binaries
for now i keep dovecot v2.3, and still think v2.4 is very scarry :(
