Sorry, but I don't understand the issue. To me it looks like LMTP was
complaining it was trying to send an email to root (UID=0) and was
blocking it. Now root is successfully aliased to nick (UID=1000), LMTP
delivers the message. The UID=0 was a symptom of a misconfiguration of
postfix.
