In TB you don't see mailboxes unless you explicitly subscribe to them,
as an alternative you disable subscriptions completely and you will
always see all.

Sticky bit on /tmp grrrrrr (I think). Yes this needs to be done with
subscriptions for sure you do not want to have a list of this.
You know if there is some auto subscribe like user1 shares folder to user2, and
user2 is autosubscribed to it?
I disabled subscriptions, then TB automatically shows all mailboxes that
you have access to. Dovecot's permissions on shared mailboxes then
determine what is shown in TB.
Enable/disable subscriptions is in Account Settings > Server Settings >
Advanced > "Show only subscribed folders" (default is enabled).
