Thunderbird has a path limit that can kick in around 192 characters

Running currently two local mailclients: Outlook 2021 and Thunderbird
102.4.2
When using TB and remove a message on my main account, I get this error:
[CANNOT] Mailbox isn't a valid mailbox
On any other TB configured email accounts I can remove messages
without any problems.
First I thought that Outlook might block removal on messages, but the
issue appears as well if I close that mail client.
Can you tell what is causing this problem?

This TBird error is all encompassing because it violates its own rules
composing filter rules now.
TB when composing or editing a filter rule, now puts a "nobody" in
the users local mailbox path, and I am losing quite a bit of incoming
mail that should be sorted to a local mailbox to someplace like
/dev/null because there is no home directory for nobody.
And the editor is not capable of editing that line to remove the
offending text, so all you can do is delete that filter, leaving the
high traffic mail in the inbox.
That is the stuff found on the ground behind the male of the bovine specie.
I'd comment on this bugzilla entry but drive crashes have lost my
username and pw, but their software knows my email addy, the only
one I have, and will not allow me to re-register claiming its already in
use.
That's more of that sqishy stuff if fresh enough.
