Hi all, I have read these documents on the subject of app-specific passwords:

But since both articles are rather old, I'd like to ask if there are other/new ways of implementing app-specific passwords for dovecot/imap and postfix/smtp.
Also perhaps (web?) GUI's exist, to make it possible for the users themselves to generate/edit those passwords..?
