quota_max_mail_size and dsync

Hello,

as we have enabled quota_max_mail_size, dsync is now having problems 
moving oversized emails between servers.

Is there a way to configure dovecot (dsync) to allow syncing of emails 
larger than quota_max_mail_size but keep limiting clients over 
imap/pop/lmtp?

The error logged is:
