We let procmail deliver mail straight to the mbox file. Usualy dovecot picks up the change and reads the mailbox, probably by checking timestamps. It used to work just fine before i turned mailbox_list_index on. Is using dovecot-lda a prerequisite for using mailbox_list_index? //Anton -- Anton Lundin +46702-161604
