Here's the relevant part of my config: mail_home = /var/mail/.homedirs/%n mail_location = mdbox:/var/mail/.maildirs/%n User's individual mail storage formats are fetched from userdb (sqlite3), which normally are mdbox, except for test which is sdbox.
