This has nothing to do with this issue. As mentioned in that thread, there is no standard for non-UTF7 characters in keywords. The OP here just wants to know if a standard flag exists that corresponds to the Important tag in Thunderbird.

This bug is bogus. Flags/keywords are case insensitive. michael
