Hi,I've been able to configure --with-mysql in Solaris 10 which has MySQL version 4.0.31 bundled in. Since beta4 build fails due to change in src/lib-sql/driver-mysql.c. I've never used this feature but so I don't need it. This is just a FYI if someone reads mailing list.
