Ummm... so, you realize you are asking on the wrong list, but are too lazy to go find the right one? This is not a dovecot issue. Assuming your postfix server is properly confirgured to allow sasl_auth, just modify Sylpheed to use smtp_auth (probably should change the port to 587 too) and enter your username/password. Otherwise, you'll need to pursue this on the postfix list. -- Best regards, Charles
