The folders were subscribed without the listescape plugin: $ cat subscriptions #Users/te...@merry.dovecot/Shared I deleted it and resubscribed with the plugin: $ cat subscriptions #Users/te...@merry\2edovecot.shared Shared folders are not so widely used here yet, so I think I could simply convert the subscription files, before activating the plugin on the production server.
