Yes. What passdb do you use? For example in SQL query you could use %s variable. http://wiki.dovecot.org/Variables You could also use an extra deny=yes passdb, for example: passdb passwd-file { deny = yes args = /etc/deny.%Ls } and then create /etc/deny.imap having a list of usernames not allowed to log in with imap.
