You should be able to do either of those with something like:userdb passwd { args = mail=dbox:/var/mail/%u } v2.0 fixes this problem properly.
This works great ...I didn't know that my (quite simple) setup wasn't supported in this way ... maybe adding a note in the Wiki or so?
