Hi, I've made more tests with another brokes dovecot-uidlist. cat docevot-uidlist Thats the other file: 3 V1207893082 N7749 7748 :1232012455.M86678P12848.z43srvmailB,S=1885,W=1928 7749 :1232012463.M258778P12858.z43srvmailB,S=1885,W=1928
Now I look for eMails on the files-system. In the new/ folder there are these two emails: ls new/ 1232012455.M86678P12848.z43srvmailB,S=1885,W=1928 1232012463.M258778P12858.z43srvmailB,S=1885,W=1928 But in the cur/ folder there are 758 emails, too. I do not see this email in dovecot-uidlist. Why? The dovecot-uidlist was updated with the new two incoming emails but kick the old emails out of list. Why? When I login into mailbox, the dovecot-uidlist was updated BUT the next UID is still the same. So I don't know why the dovecot-uidlist is incorrect. The documentation should be updated, since the format changed in v1.1. Now the next-uid header is updated only when the entire file is rewritten. Typically updates are done only by appending a line.
