Ive been able to grab the dovecot.rawlog output of a few people with this problem.. basically this is what I see with all of them:
Sep 10 13:43:13 userimap7.xs4all.nl dovecot: IMAP(xxxxxx): rename(/var/spool/mail/dovecot-control/indexes/c/co/xxxxxx/.Junk E-mail/dovecot.index.cache.lock, /var/spool/mail/dovecot-control/indexes/c/co/xxxxxx/.Junk E-mail/dovecot.index.cache) failed: No such file or directory Sep 10 13:43:13 userimap7.xs4all.nl dovecot: IMAP(xxxxxx): file_dotlock_replace() failed with index cache file /var/spool/mail/dovecot-control/indexes/c/co/xxxxxx/.Junk E-mail/dovecot.index.cache: No such file or directory da56 UID COPY 11078 "Junk E-mail" And I see no result in the .out file, so the client waits for a result, doesnt get it, and times out. I can also absolutely verify that if I take the NFS server out of the equation completely I still get this problem. Cor
