No, I don't believe there is a way to do that at present. And yes, it would be a very useful and probably simple feature to add. I'll add my voice to the feature request for this. I also needed to do this. I ended up working around it by writing a script to create a new temporary config file, with the settings replaced. It's not pretty, but it works. Andrew.
