This Mail was delivered with Postfix's virtual transport, not with
Dovecot's LDA http://wiki.dovecot.org/LDA/Postfix()

Problem solved.

it was listen = and not listen = * that caused it.

strange thing is that i haven't changed those lines.

Did you recently upgrade from the 1.0 tree?
That setting now has different defaults then the 1.0 branch
