Hi Timo, have you read this thread on vpopmail? http://www.mail-archive.com/dovecot@dovecot.org/msg11289.html For users of vpopmail this feature (disable imap from localhost) is very useful, especially since courier-authlib no longer supports vpopmail natively. You may investigate a few minutes on this problem?
