If there are no rows in the table, then that's the reason expire-tool doesn't do anything. IMAP should insert rows into the table when you're copying messages to Trash. > expire: Trash 1 Trash/* 1 I guess by Trash/* you're thinking about mailboxes thare are renamed there by Thunderbird?
