I think this solves (works around) it: http://hg.dovecot.org/dovecot-1.1/rev/c2747ab1696e I think this should be fixed in FreeBSD also (they broke it in 7.0, 6.3 works). Dovecot isn't the only program relying on *environ=NULL working.
