OK, then I suspect the problem happens because hierarchy separator
changed from '/' to '.' and Thunderbird keeps caching the old one and
breaking itself. Try

a) Deleting/rebuilding TB's cache

b) Changing Dovecot's separator to '/' also using namespaces.
