Hello,
I've setup a mailbox for reporting SPAM by simply symlinking it into the
Maildir of selected users. In order to preserve anonymity of the users I
setup the mailbox as follows:
drwxr-xr-t 5 root fb 4096 2007-09-05 16:18 ./
drwxr-xr-x 7 root root 4096 2007-09-05 16:16 ../
drwx-wx-wt 2 spamd fb 12288 2007-09-10 16:17 cur/
hence, with read permission for the spam bot only.
When Thunderbird copies mails from the same mail account into the folder,
it seems like it tries to select the mail box afterwards, then a "Internal
error occured. Refer to server log for more information." because of
permission denied.
When one copies mail from yet another account into the SPAM box, no such
message appears. I guess, Thunderbird does not try the refresh the message
count.
Well, is there a possiblity to setup a Write-Only mailbox, with Dovecot
v1.0.3 with the ACL plugin? Is there a working setup for write-only
mailboxes with the ACL plugin?
