Thnx one of the error is gone due to duplicate passdbs, thnx. However
following error is persistant. I restarted my sendmail, dovecot etc.
changed the group permission as you mentioned.

Then it means you're using two passdbs. PAM and something else. Remove
PAM. You can easily check what passdbs you have with "dovecot -n".
